Have you ever considered what the greatest need of humanity is today? Everywhere people with diseased bodies and souls languish for something they have not. What was the greatest need of the human race in Christ's day? Was it not the same as it is today? How did He meet those needs?

He came as the unwearied servant of man's necessity, healing more than preaching. Thus, He met physical needs so that the mind could be free to accept the salvation of God. He perfectly combined health of body and mind with the saving truths of the gospel. He says, "Verily, Verily I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to My Father." John 14:12

How then can we do the works of the Great Medical Missionary and even greater? MEET is dedicated to the training of such workers who will work in communities, churches, and wherever they find a need. This training is accomplished through an intense, yet well balanced, three month program. It includes the following: in depth classes and labs, evangelistic outreach, and a beneficial work program.


CURRICULUM

Bible Training - This class discusses the life and teachings of Jesus; Bible doctrines; the three angels' messages; righteousness by faith; how to study the Bible and how to give Bible studies.

The Principles and Application of GOD'S PLAN - The study of Biblical principles of the medical missionary work and the therapeutic value and application of the eight laws of health. The fundamental principles which distinguish heavens approved health plan from the New Age and conventional plans will be taught. Also one will learn the principles of true education.

Understanding the Creator's Masterpiece - The biblical concepts of vital force and life itself, along with basic anatomy and physiology with special emphasis on cell biology, digestion, the immune system and the seven channels of elimination.

God's Plan for the Preservation and Restoration of Health - An understanding of disease, its causes, prevention and cure using God's Plan.

Christian Life-style Consulting - Medical terminology, basic health assessment techniques including basic symptom assessment and how to determine the cause of a condition. The preparation necessary to become a professional Christian life-style consultant.

God's Nutritional Plan - The elements of nutrition and the principles that govern their proper use; the role of nutrition on spirituality and health. Proper food combinations and the Biblical classification of foods are also taught.

Nature's Rational Remedies - The principles and application of nature's remedial agencies such as herbs and foods. The systematic approach to herbs with a variety of preparations such as poultices, tinctures, etc.

Hydrotherapy - Hydrotherapy, massage and their application to various health conditions.

Medical Missionary Home Health Care - The principles of ministry to the sick in their homes or at a homelike health facility.

In addition to classroom instruction, the students participate in work assignments and receive hands on training through our health center in applying the principles that they learn.


RESULTS

The work program provides training in practical lines such as food preparation, maintenance, office work, etc.

Many people have found this training to be the few months of training they needed to do acceptable missionary work.
