What would you consider to be the greatest need of humanity today? Throughout the world, there are numerous people with diseased bodies and souls, languishing for what? Many know not. What was the greatest need of the human race in Christ's day? Was it not the same as it is today? How did He, our example, meet those needs?
Jesus came as the unwearied servant of man's necessities, spending much more time healing than preaching. As He met physical needs, minds became open to accept the salvation of God. He perfectly combined health of the body and mind with the saving truths of the gospel. He says, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." John 14:12.
How is this possible—to do the works of the Great Medical Missionary and even greater? M.E.E.T. is dedicated to the training of such workers who will work in communities, churches and anywhere there is a need. This training is accomplished through one of four optional avenues.
