This course is designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of what constitutes media and how to use the media tools to further
the Everlasting Gospel. This course trains students to be servants in the media field especially with the growing demand of online content
while technology lasts. It provides the opportunity for students to learn about audio, video and light systems. Simple but effective,
these principles fully implemented, provide an answer to the rising technological demand of online outreach especially in areas that have
been shut down due to the current pandemic Covid19 while promoting the quality of physical, mental and spiritual life through enriching
online audio-visual programs. With an emphasis to labor for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ other than the world, students will learn how
to effectively use and implement the different tools and how to employ them to win souls to the Kingdom of Heaven. Furthermore, students
will be taught how to live; this will encompass every aspect of life. Educating self and others is a primary goal to enhance physical,
mental and spiritual health. Ultimately, the course provides a deeper understanding of the use of media in light of the Bible. Subjects

Parts of The Video System
This class equips the student with a basic understanding of the different parts of the sound systems such as microphones, signal cable,
amplifiers, speakers, and mixers and how they can be integrated to produce audio.
Audio Processing Tools
The trainee(s) will understand the basic operation and application of audio processing equipment or software such as equalizer (EQ),
compressor, reverb, delays, and noise gates.
Other Audio Peripherals
The trainee(s) will understand the basic operation and application of additional audio hardware such as musical instrument digital interface
(MIDI) controllers, direct boxes, audio splitters, and analog to digital converters as needed.
Signal Flow
The trainee(s) will develop a basic understanding of signal flow in relation to a recording and broadcast set-up.
Parts of The Lighting System
The trainee(s) will understand the basic different parts of the lighting system such as lights, cables, c-stands, trusses, and controllers.
Lighting Techniques
Basic cinematography concepts like white balance and depth of field. The principle of three- point lighting will be introduced to the
trainee(s).
Depth & Contrast
The trainee(s) will understand the basics of how to create depth and contrast indifferent video takes.
Parts of The Projection System
The trainee(s) will understand the different parts of a projection system such as LED, OLED TVs and Projectors, LED Walls, signals, cables
and how they can be integrated to create a visual experience.
Pixel Pitch and Resolutions
The trainee(s) will be able to appreciate and understand the science of pixels and resolutions and how they affect appearance and visual
experience. They will also learn when to apply what pixel pitch and resolution depending on the situation.
Parts of The Video System
The trainee(s) will understand the basic different parts of the video system such as cameras, lenses, tripods, cables, transmitters,
viewfinders and monitors and how the camera works – (optical zoom, white balance, focus, aperture).
Choosing a Video Camera
We will start with a brief review of small format video cameras in an effort to help you understand your choices. Although a large selection
of effective tools are available to videographers today, not each piece of equipment is right for every project. We'll help the trainee(s)
discover which formats and tools are right for the varying creative goals.
The Video Workflow
The Video Workflow, will help the trainee(s) establish an effective, linear order of things to do in the process of creating a finished
video production. From traveling with equipment when working on the go to storing your files effectively, by the end of this lesson you'll
have developed a practical routine in which you can work on a daily basis while maintaining organization and consistency..
Tools for Live-Streaming
This is an overview of the proper tools like the gear and software used for streaming - cameras, mics, capture cards, cables, video mixers,
video wireless transmitters, encoders and decoders but to mention a few.
Producing a Live-Streaming
The trainee(s) will learn how to produce high quality LIVE Streaming using the best tools like vMix, BM-Design, Wirecast, Zoom etc. Avoid
common issues like video buffering, out-of-sync video and choppy playback. Mixing from different cameras angles and different audio/video
sources for more engaging experience.
Live-Streaming Solutions
The trainee(s) will learn about the basic LIVE streaming free solutions like Facebook LIVE and YouTube LIVE as well as professional hosting
providers like Lightcast, Dacast, Restream, StreamYard and others.
