Answering The Call

The Scripture has many examples of ordinary men, who gave their gifts and skills to the service of the Lord; their desire was to proclaim God's message of love to a dying world. Some examples  of willing servants include, the boy Samuel, who declared "speak; for thy servant heareth" (1 Sam 3:10). Isaiah is another example, he exclaimed "Here I am; send me" (Isaiah 6:8). God has truly blessed MEET Ministry with some very talented individuals who have answered the question, "Who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?" (1 Chron 29:5).

We have recently filled some very important positions and are very grateful for God sending the individuals in His appointed time. We will like to take this opportunity to introduce them to you.

Sis. Danella Taylor from the UK has joined the team as our Education/Evangelism Assistant. She will assist with teaching some of the Bible and health classes, as well as upgrading some of our educational material. She has a strong biblical background having been trained at various of our institutions. She has taken time to "study to shew thyself approved."

Sis. Dora Aviles is our new Office Manager. She has many years of experience in management. Additionally, she is a communicator who enjoys teaching and loves art, and most of all apprenticing under the Master Artist.

Sis. Corrine Fender is a nurse with whom God has placed the desire to co-labor with the Great Physician. He led her into full-time medical missionary work 3 years ago. She will be assisting in the health center as one of our Female Therapist.

Bro. Raphael Cobb joins the team as our Gardener. Gardening was the first occupation given to man. Our brother has a strong desire to see all the people of God learn not only the practical aspects but the many hidden spiritual lessons. This will allow them to have a useful, industrious and self-supporting life.

Bro. Michael Smith joins the team as our Maintenance Supervisor. Understanding that God gave skills to workmen to keep the charge of His sanctuary, Bro Michael aims to keep the physical structure of the ministry in a way that will glorify God.

Sis. April Smith joins the team as a Female therapist. The commission given to preach the gospel included the healing of the sick and Sis.. April has consecrated her talents to follow in the footsteps of her Savior.

Bro. Emory Horne joins the team to assist in the Office.  He also functions as our male Student Resident Assistant. Seeing that we have now come to time where every member of the church take hold of the medical missionary work. He has put his hand to the plow to work in any capacity God sees fit.

Bro. Woodley Chery joins the team as a Hygienic Cook. His passion for cooking goes back before He knew that God called him into ministry. He is a trained Bible worker. Opening the bread of life to those that are hungering gives him the opportunity to let others taste and see that the Lord is good.

Not new to the family is Sis. Claudette Medder, who was our health center manager for many years and currently runs our M.E.E.T Jamaica. She is currently here assisting the students  for our Gospel Medical Missionary Training School. She will also oversee the Health Center as our new Health Center staff gets acclimated.

We again are grateful for not only this new infusion of dedicated talents, but for our stand-by crew who are continually sacrificing in this part of God's vineyard. Praise the Lord!
